Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the application of the Al Fatih method in the four-month acceleration program of being able to read the yellow book and the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Al Fatih method in the four-month acceleration program of being able to read the yellow book at the An-Nur Pakis Islamic Boarding School, Magelang. This type of research is included in field research using qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach. The research results are as follows. First, the Al Fatih Method is a new method in learning the yellow book. This method is one of the accelerated methods in reading the yellow book. The application of the Al Fatih method in this acceleration program includes three stages, namely understanding the material, practice and evaluation. Second, factors that support and hinder the application of the Al Fatih method. Supporting factors are learning methods, teaching staff, social environment, adequate facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors consist of language differences, age differences and teacher limitations.
